Love is like a crutch
Gives you something to hold
Makes an impression on your soul
Sets a way you want to feel
Love is like Hercules
Strength and might
Pushes out hate
Dims out fright
Love is insanity
Tells you what to do
Whispers in your ear
I'm here for you
Love is uncontrollable
Honest and true
Love is undeniable
Like mine is for you
With a darkened soul
And darker eyes
I walk into darkness
A foul surprise
In the wasteland
Wither do all
Where once were kingdoms
Now castles fall
The journey through
It cannot save
For my darkest deeds
Follow to the grave
I've tried to let
The light back in
To save me from darkness
And cleanse my sin
I walk around
In this darkened land
The only light left
My small lantern in hand
Toxic fumes of days gone by
Float in my path
Like the people of a tyrant
I have felt their wrath
It burns my lungs
And scorns my skin
This is the darkness
I feel within
The silver lining
Was not enough
To bear the load
Of a life so rough
Sometimes I wonder
What these words are worth
These poems of love
Of pain and rebirth
Do my poems reflect
Times that were worse
Are they a gift to continue
Or only a curse
The rhythm and rhyme
Used to make them
Only can come
From my darkness
When it erupts
In one powerful blast
Words with feeling
Come out at last
As I wonder
When will it end
I write new rhymes
To begin again
As the sun rises
In the sky
An amazing beauty
Rarely passed by
The radiance of the red sun
Gleams in the sky
Turns the blue horizon
To a purple, pink beauty to the eyes
Orange tint
To the blue
No other compare
Except the night hours hue
Ass the sun sets
On a radiant day
The wind blows
And the trees sway
Once again
The sun turns gold
And a story of beauty
Once again told
As the leaves of Fall
Turn gently gold
The lifting breeze
Still grows cold
The sky turns
A damp cold grey
As the branches of trees
Begin to sway
The cold is setting in
Things begin to die
Winter ready to begin
From the bleak Autumn sky
The gentle white puffs
Cascade from the heavens
The cold setting deeper
Nesseled together in dens
The fire shoots
It's dying ember
The final flame
One to remember
As the months roll through December
Tales told of yule lore
Til child's ear are tired
And they lay stretched across the floor

Rising Up
Johnny and I were bouncing ideas off of each other for hours. It was almost time to call it a night. Before deciding to go to bed Johnny and I pitched a few more ideas.
"Wait I've got it." Johnny said.
"This isn't the nuke strategy again is it?"
"No, no, no, it's a way better idea than that."
"And the idea is?"
"Well what if we just let the Sword and the angel duke it out. I mean they should put off a huge negative energy. The angel tries to kill them, they try to kill her, and we just clean up the mess."
"That's assuming she kills them before she annihilates half the town

Falling in More Ways Than One
I was just laying there in my bed. So many thoughts were going through my mind. A thousand things were flying though it: being a vampire, getting Johnny in this deep, being the target of a horrible rogue group that wants to make me ash and dust, and the girl I met at the bar. And unfortunately I wasn't sure that my priorities were in the right place. Even though I should be focused on the fact that someone is trying to kill Johnny and I, but all I could think about was the girl from the bar. Even after being blown up, I couldn't stop thinking about Abbey.

A Night on the Town
After our run in with the Lycans, Johnny and I were a little worn out. After a good day's sleep we felt a little better and we had made it though most of the day with no assignment. The new week was starting to look up. By the sounds of activity in the city and on the news it didn't seem like we were going to have anything big to do for a while. Johnny and I would have a chance to explore the mansion; I could try to talk to Dani, who knows maybe Johnny could even find a girl who didn't just want to drink his blood

Dogs Days
It's been a little over a week that Johnny and I had been living in the vampire estate. We had discovered, past all of the paramilitary gear; there was a bed room, big enough for both of us to live in. We still hadn't been given another assignment, and liked the care free life style. I still hadn't adjusted to all the vampire changes. Rotating my sleep schedule came easy for me, but took its toll on Johnny. He had quit his job, and decided to finish his last semester online. Mr. Donavin's limitless funds kept Johnny fed, and his blood bank kept my thirst under control.
